Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Santi Open Learning ("Santi", "we"). By creating an account or using Santi Tutor you agree to them. If you are using Santi through a school or tutoring centre, that institution's agreement with us also applies.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to hold an account. A parent or guardian can hold a parent account on behalf of a younger learner and is responsible for it.
• You must verify your email address to finish setting up an account.
• Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Plans, credits and trials

Using the tutor requires an active subscription. The Starter plan is billed monthly and includes a monthly allowance of credits. Credits are the unit in which tutoring is metered: each lesson's usage is converted from the actual cost of the tutor model, audio and visuals used. Monthly credits expire when the subscription renews; credits bought as a one-off top-up do not expire while your account is active. Replaying a saved lesson does not use credits.

New accounts may be offered a free trial. Payment details are required to start it, and the subscription is charged at the displayed monthly price when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

If we change plan prices or what a plan includes, we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice. You can cancel before the change takes effect.

Billing and renewal

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are shown in US dollars; your bank may apply conversion fees. If a payment fails, access to the tutor may be paused until it is resolved.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription on the Credits page, which opens your billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Unused monthly credits are not refunded. Credit top-ups are not refundable once any of the credits have been used.

If something has gone wrong with a charge, write to hello@santitutor.com within 14 days and we will look at it.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Santi to cheat in assessed work where that is prohibited by your school or exam board.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or material that is unlawful, abusive or harmful.
• Do not attempt to access other people's accounts or lessons, probe or overload the service, or reverse-engineer it.
• Do not resell access to the service or share one account between several learners.

Your content

You own the questions, images, recordings and materials you provide. You give us a licence to store and process them so we can deliver the service, including sending them to the AI providers that generate your lessons. Lessons generated for you are yours to use for your own learning. If you create a public replay link, you are choosing to make that lesson visible to anyone with the link.

Our content

The Santi Tutor software, brand, design and site content belong to Santi and its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them except as these terms allow.

Accuracy and limits of the service

The tutor is an AI. It aims to be accurate but it can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it may not match the exact conventions of your exam board. Check anything that matters against your syllabus or teacher. The service is a study aid, not a substitute for a qualified teacher or for professional advice.

Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Lessons depend on third-party AI and hosting providers and on your own connection. If a lesson is interrupted, you can usually resume it from where it stopped.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where that is reasonable. You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers and liability, continue after termination.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost grades or lost opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction, except where the consumer law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
